Planet earth has always been alive; life is almost synonymous with the greens on this planet that is the plants. Plants can be herbs, shrubs or trees, each one has many species and subspecies and can be either flowering or fruit bearing plants. Every plant flowers but some have beautiful flowers while others have tasty fruits; fruits of nature are one of the most complete and ready to eat foods on this planet.
It is an interesting fact to know that fossils of tropical plants have been found at the poles, how is that possible? The earth has land masses which we call continents; these are in a state of continuous motion. The movement of the continents is very slow but they are moving and over millions of years the piece of land that was once at the equator will shift to the poles and vice a versa.
Australia is blessed with many shrubs and bushes, many of which are flowering and fruit bearing plants. Shrubs are slightly bigger then herbs and have woody branches, they are sturdy plants as compared to the herbs. Some of the native Australian flowers are so beautiful that they are being grown commercially, living in Australia all that you have to do is plant some of them in your backyard.
When you are bored of looking at your dull backyard you could turn it into an interesting place by planting some flowers and bushes or rather flowering native Australian bushes.
The Australian west coast that is the NSW and all along the gold coast native flower farms are common and they have flourished over the last ten years due to the increased demand in the Japanese market. The commercial flower market is now open to all the native Australian flowers, initially only the east coast flowers were used in commercial flower farms but now the local NSW native flowers are grown.Another option could be to make use of florists that would have native Australian plants and maybe even deliver flowers Australia wide. You could use the native bushes and hedges of different colours to enhance the beauty of your backyard, they come in different colour and shapes. Planting bushes in barren areas is important to prevent soil erosion, in case you plant flowering trees and bushes it will be a favour to mankind.
